Directions

The Frances Willard House Museum is conveniently located on Chicago Avenue in Evanston between Clark Street and Church Street. You can reach the museum
by car, bus or train.

BY CAR:

From the north or south: Take Sheridan Road (via Lake Shore Drive from the south) to Clark Street, just south of the Northwestern University campus; proceed west on Clark St. 2 blocks.

From the west: Take Dempster Street exit and follow Dempster into Evanston to Chicago Ave.; proceed north on Chicago Ave 5 blocks.

Parking: Metered parking is available on the street and in a city lot just south of the museum, or you may use a municipal parking structure across the street with entrances on Church St. and Clark St.

BY RAPID TRANSIT/BUS: Take the CTA “L” Purple Line to Davis Street. Walk (east on Church, north on Chicago) or transfer to CTA 201 bus.

BY TRAIN: Take Metra’s Union Pacific North Line to the Davis Street Station and walk east on Church St. to Chicago Ave.; proceed north one-half block.
