The Frances Willard Historical Association (FWHA) located in Evanston, IL is seeking persons interested in serving on its volunteer Board of Directors.  The FWHA manages the operations of the Frances Willard House Museum, one of the first museums in the country dedicated to the life and career of a woman.  Located within a National Historic Landmark building, the museum is also one of the oldest homes in Evanston.

Joining the Board is an amazing opportunity to serve your community and preserve an important aspect of American history . If you have skills in fundraising, membership development, marketing, non-profit management, finance and/or are interested in history, women’s history, architectural history, museums, museum operations, or community service this is the place for you!  The FWHA needs your passion and enthusiasm.

Volunteer training kick-off! Learn about volunteering and internship opportunities at the Frances Willard House Museum and Archives. 

Volunteers and Interns help keep the Frances Willard House Museum running. Would you like to help us in the garden? Work with us on community outreach, or giving tours of the home? Maybe you'd like to learn about event planning, restoration, museum collections, or archives? Even if you'd just like to help us out with stuffing envelopes, the  Frances Willard House Museum has a place for you.

Individual Membership $25.00  Includes free admission for regular tours of the Museum, and a subscription to our newsletter.
 
Household Membership $45.00   Includes free admission for regular tours for the entire household, a 10% discount on bookstore purchases and special tours and events, and a newsletter subscription.
Supporter Membership $150.00  Includes free admission for regular tours, a 10% discount on bookstore purchases and special tours and events, a newsletter subscription, and 4 free passes to the museum.

Benefactor Membership $250.00  Includes free admission for regular tours, a 10% discount on bookstore purchases and special tours and events, a newsletter subscription, 4 free passes to the museum, a special gift, and acknowledgment in our newsletter.


WCTU Membership $15.00  Includes free admission for regular tours of the Museum, a postcard, and a subscription to our newsletter.

Frances Willard Historical Association, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in 1994. The Frances Willard Historical Association manages the Frances Willard House Museum and the Frances Willard Archives and Memorial Library on behalf of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union, which owns the properties. Your donations are much appreciated, and are tax-deductible.
