W.C.T.U. Historic District approved by City of Evanston
In April 2010, the Evanston City Council approved the historic-district nomination to make the WCTU properties on Chicago Avenue--three houses, an office building, and a garage--a local historic district.  Our thanks go out to FWHA Board Member, Mary McWilliams for her work on preparing this nomination, which will do much to ensure that these important historical properties be saved for posterity.
